The customer is obliged upon receipt, unpacking and checking the products to confirm the absence of external aesthetic defects and in the case where they are entitled to refuse the receipt of the item and return it to the distributor. The customer may return a product that has found aesthetic defects within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt of the item. At the end of this period, the customer loses all relevant rights and is assumed that any defect was caused after delivery. Globalsat is obliged to replace this species in a short time without the fault. In the case of unconditional receipt of the article, it is considered that it has been delivered in an excellent external condition without any defect.
If the customer wishes to return a product without any defect (purchase withdrawal), it may do so within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt of the item with its own shipping costs.
Returns of products at the Company's charge:
Product returns are paid by Globalsat in the following cases:
- Where the product delivered is different from the product ordered by the customer, in kind or quantity.
- If on delivery the product is damaged, totally or some parts of it.
- If it is found that the product has a manufacturing defect (provided this is confirmed by the authorized repairer who provides the warranty for proper operation).
- In the case of damaged packaging, the customer is entitled not to accept the receipt of the product from the beginning and to request replacement, in consultation with Globalsat.
Product Return Terms:
In case of a return with charge to the company the products must be returned to the condition received by the customer and at the time agreed. Any delay on the part of the customer is justified only for reasons of force majeure; otherwise the right of replacement does not apply.
In all cases, the product to be replaced should be returned with all the documents accompanying the product (eg. Delivery Note, Retail Receipt etc.) and full packing (unless defective found later on delivery and packaging does not exist).
If return of the products occurs, replacement or, alternatively -if the customer wishes- cancellation of the transaction, provided that they have been previously received and checked by Globalsat. In the event of cancellation, the money will be refunded to the customer in the same way that they were paid. In particular, in the case of a credit card debit, Globalsat will be obliged to inform the issuing Bank about the cancellation of the transaction and the bank will then proceed to any transaction provided for, under the contract it has concluded with the client, without Globalsat's liability. Globalsat, following this update, has no responsibility for the time and manner of execution.
In the case of cash payment, it will be repaid by depositing a bank account to be indicated by the client to Globalsat, within 5 working days of receipt of the defective or returning product.
In the event that the products are returned damaged or incomplete, the Online Shop has the right to claim compensation from the customer, the amount of which will be determined by the condition of the products and unilaterally and unconditionally, wholly or partly offsetting this claim against the customer.
Product returns, which are considered defective on delivery (DOA):
If a product is found to be Dead On Arrival to the customer (hereafter referred to as DOA), the return of this product will also be Globalsat's charge.
In this case, the return of the defective product(s) can be made either by the customer himself / herself, with Globalsat being charged with the cost of receiving it. The customer should contact the Globalsat Online Shop and agree on how to dispatch the defective product.
The return of products that are considered Dead On Arrival (DOA) will be accepted within fifteen (15) calendar days of delivery to the customer. At the same time, the product should not be damaged and have all the original documents accompanying the product (e.g. Consignment Note, Receipt and so on) and its packaging.
In the case of return of products (DOA), and provided that they have been previously omitted and checked by Globalsat, the item will be replaced by a similar device (status and features, etc.).
In the event that the customer does not wish for the product to be replaced, a refund will be made to the customer in the way he paid for the value. In particular, in case of credit card charges, Globalsat will be obliged to inform the issuing Bank about the cancellation of the transaction and the bank will then proceed to any transaction provided, under the contract it has concluded with the customer. Following this update, the company is not responsible for the time and manner of execution of the retaliation.
In the case of cash payment (pay on deposit), it will be refunded by depositing on a bank account that will be indicated by the customer at Globalsat within 5 working days of receipt of the defective or returning product.
If the customer has purchased a product that is considered Dead On Arrival (DOA) and has the right to return it, then it may also return the supplementary products of this type (for example, if a food processor is considered defective on delivery, the customer has the possibility of returning the additional accessories purchased with that machine).
In the event that a customer returns a product and after Globalsat’s operating check,there is no malfunction, then the product is returned to the customer and all shipping costs are charged to the customer.
